It would be hard to underestimate how important we feel that the discoverers of the back copies of the prize-giving programmes are. They stretch back more than fifty years and even with the gaps we have something of the order of 2500 names that are felt worthy or recording. We hope that you find them both a valuable resource and a lot of fun

The following matrix of year dates links into the year that the prizes were actually presented.
The rules appear to be that, prior to 1978, the presentations were typically in October so the academic year and the presentation year were the same.
After and including 1978 the presentations were typically in February so the academic year was the year before the presentation. To clarify and as an example you should click year 1979 for academic year 1978. I know this is rather strange but I think it may be the arrival of a new Headmaster that triggered this change of presentation date.
